Couldn't reach Modrinth when trying to download a modpack

Describe the bug

I opened a mrpack file for it to start downloading in modrinth, but after the progress bar finishes a message saying, "Couldn't reach modrinth" pops up and the modpack fails to download.

some other people has experienced other bugs related to this modpack on cursedforge.
the modpack is from a trustworthy source, so the bug should not be related to viruses.
