I ran a dynamic analysis tool and observed this error of MessageDigest at runtime: 'expecting one of {SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512} but found MD5'. I proposed this change to address the identified cause and prevent the error from occurring again. |

This is a false positive. MD5 is used here as a checksum, not as a security control — that's exactly what it's still appropriate for. There's no password, token, or integrity check involved. Closing this one, but thanks for the effort. |
